Jason Holt - Co-Founder

Co-founder and Webmaster, I manage the website and forum.  I live in Hampshire with my wife Hannah and our daughter Bethany.  Broadlands is my local lake and where I landed my not-so-impressive PB of 21lb 04oz! I've been carp fishing for about 10 years, with a few years before that spent on the lakes course fishing with my mate Andy.  Andy introduced me to fishing, I, in turn, introduced him to hip flasks of Port...

Andy Gardner - Co-Founder

I live in North Somerset with my wife and four daughters. I have been an angler since I could walk, some of my earliest memories are of me and my Dad fishing  (I think that was the last time I caught anything) I fish hard club waters as I like the challenge and living across the road from one gives me a lot of opportunity to get out on the bank..Since Jas introduced me to the art of drinking while fishing my catch rate has definatly gone down, but I must say it has been a lot of fun. Tammy (my wife) calls herself a CFC Widow.

Keith Williams - Consultant

I live in Norfolk with my wife Tammy and have 4 daughters and a son. I originally come from Essex, where I learnt to fish at an early age. I started match fishing at 16 years old, mainly on The River Lee and  River Thames, before moving into carp fishing.  Angling is now part of my working life with Angling Technics being my employer. I am also a consultant for Nash Tackle,Mainline Baits,Ultima and Baitzone.

Cancer effects so many families and both my parents were victims of this dreadful disease. I feel I have duty to help fund and find ways to beat it . I look up to Sir Bobby Robson.  He is was a real inspiration to anyone involved in charity work but he was also a real fighter and always seemed positive despite battling cancer.

Myles Gascoyne - Angling Tuition & Consultant

Myles was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer back in 2000. He spent a year in hostpital undergoing a trial treatment of chemotheropy that was funded by the works of the Orchid appeal. He feels he owes his life to the the consultants, doctors and nurses who's job would be very difficult without the work of Orchid. For this reason Myles whole heartedly supports Carping for Cancer. Fully fit and well now Myles runs CarpSchool angling tuition, is a consultant for Free Spirit, Solar Tackle and Ultima UK and writes in all the UK magazines

Julian Cundiff - Consultant

Julian Cundiff has been fishing since his 13th birthday and has just celebrated his 25th anniversary of 'serious carp fishing'. Although a Legal Adviser in the courts system for over 30 years Jules as he is known is probably one of the most well known carpers of the modern era having appeared in virtually every publication ever that has covered carp fishing. With 6 carp books to his name and contributions to countless other books Julian has also edited Carp Fisher, Carpworld and Crafty Carper as well as being in the first issues of most major carp magazines. With thousands of carp to his name and a regular at shows, conferences and events we are glad to welcome Jules on board and hope that he will be attend some of our events in 2012 and beyond....

Joe Turnbull - Resident Bait Expert

I am a passionate angler and have been for nearly 30 years and like many of us have a carp fishing addiction that burns away at me if I don‘t go enough. Unfortunately like many people in the fishing trade I have a full time job that keeps me very busy so angling time is precious although I always manage to get at least 2 or 3 days a week fishing somewhere because I work for myself. I have a very understanding Mrs that backs me up all the way when it comes to my addiction, and has even been known to have had a dabble herself with a rod and line. As you may or may not know I have been writing for Carp-World and Crafty Carper for the last year or so and I love to write about all things carp but especially the subject of bait. I have also recently become a member of the B.S.C.G (British,Carp,Study,Group) which is something that I’ve always aspired to be a member of.
Recently I have had the pleasure of being asked to be a consultant for the Carping For Cancer support team and I have accepted with much gratitude. I hope to be of help as much as I can and if you would like to contact me regarding anything relating to angling you can do via my email joe.turnbullsbaitworld@facebook.com. I look forward to meeting you all out on the bank in the future.
All the very best - Joe Turnbull

Martin Brown - Consultant

I feel over the moon that I'm able to be part of this special group of guys!
I've loved the sport of angling since my father took me to the Gloucester canal at Cadburys Frampton many many years ago
My father passed away  from cancer in 2006, who I miss dearly
My fishing is so special to me and keeps on giving me so many special memories, also allowing me to meet some wonderful people through it, you  know who you are  :0)
So for me to give something back from the sport I so love Is just brilliant !!

Long may CFC continue !!

Bryan "Spomb" Houghton - Consultant

My first carp was caught in 1975, aged 13, at Dartford Lakes, Kent.  I was then obsessed by it.
Having to make your own equipment in those days was necessary and sort of stuck.
There's been many weird and wonderful things going on with my fishing and tackle through the years.
Not being happy with spods I thought I could improve them, resulting in the SPOMB.
After last year’s social fish with the CFC Team, at the pink Spomb Broadlands event and subsequent events,
I would love to be able to help the CFC cause
