We have 15 pegs to fill and a target of £3000 to raise for Orchid Male Cancer Appeal 
 
The match will start at 12 on Friday 20th July 2012 and finishes 48 hours later at 12pm Sun 22nd July 2012. Booking in will run from 08:00 - 09:30 on the Friday morning and pre-baiting and plumbing will be allowed from 11:00 until the midday start.  

As per usual your ticket price will include a full hog roast on Saturday afternoon, and a couple of beers on us! During this social couple of hours the competion will be suspened and the lake will be opened to wives and families.

On Purchasing a ticket you will be sent a sponsor form and will be required to raise AT LEAST £75 per persson in sponsorship, payable on entry to the lake.

1st and 2nd pairs, and the greatest fundraiser, from this event will go through to the Broadlands final in September 

 

Willow Park Fishery is a family run business, purchased in 2010 by Bob, Sarah and Edd Orford.Before embarking on this venture, Bob was a gardener and maintenance man, Edd, a past student of Sparsholt Agricultural College and Merrist Wood with experience in the pub trade and Sarah, worked in the accounts department at her parents' business and helped with fund raising for local charities. Bob and Edd both were baliffs for a local angling club, but it has always been a dream for all three to own and run their own fishery.

Big Lake
Comprising 10 acres with 82 platformed swims and a depth of 4-8ft, this is home to a good head of specimen carp, crucians, bream and silver fish. It is the lake for our night anglers (over 18's ONLY ) and carpers, but also sees regular action as a match venue and pleasure lake.

Our sponsor for this event - Scattered Baits - will be awarding prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, with a special prize also going to the person who raises the most sponsorship.

For over 20 years, the Scattered Baits team have pursued a passion for carp. The quest has taken us on a journey that spans many waters, from small weedy ponds in the Kent countryside to the vast waters of the European 'big water' scene.

During this journey, there have been many highs and lows but the one constant that has ensured success on even the trickiest of waters, is that a carp must eat a balanced diet to live a healthy life.
