2012
sees the start of the CFC Carp Tournament with 8 qualifiers leading to
a final at the legendary Broadlands Lake in Hampshire
Blakemere 29th June to 1st July
Great Linford 15th to 17th June
White Springs 8th to 10th June
We
have handpicked venues all over the country to enable anglers from
every region to take part and enjoy the now legendary CFC
experience. We have also catered for competitors who wish to fish
on their own, or as a pair, as 3 of the 8 qualifiers will be pairs
matches
.
Although there are some serious prizes up for grabs
we like to think that most of you will come along to meet likeminded
anglers, make new friends and raise some much needed funds to help
Orchid with their important work saving MENS lives.
So how do you take part?
Simply
look through the tournament pages and select a venue and match style
that most suits you. You can then purchase your ticket online and your
place in the 2012 CFCCT will be booked. You will then be emailed
a sponsor form on which you will be required to raise the minimum
amount, payable on the day at booking in.
The best part
about our events is the social. We have a break from the fishing to sit
back and enjoy some great food prepared by our very own award winning
chef. The cost of this and a few beers is included in your ticket
price. Each venue will have a different food package so if you like
your food be sure to come to more than one event!
So
you’ve entered the 2012 CFCCT. How do you get through to the
final? As in most carp matches you need to catch the most weight
of fish over the weekend. But you can also secure your place in the
final without even casting a rod. We have decided to put through the
best fundraisers, so the person who raises the most money at each match will go through to the final!
The
Final will be a singles event, this means if you and your partner
qualify from one of the pairs events you will have to split up for the
final and take your own chances in the draw.
So how do we top this.
Well
that was made easy By Marsh Pratley. To close the year we will be
holding a massive Halloween party at Orchid lakes. Think scary
marquee, fancy dress, disco, karaoke and themed food. This is one to
bring the wives and partners to. Marsh has then opened Orchid Lake to
fish for Pike, something that has never been done before and after
speaking to Marsh and his team it will be a busy match, with anglers
catching between 30 and 40 pike (yes that’s 30 or 40 fish) With sport
that good we wouldn’t need to fish for long, so we have decided to run
the match from 10am on the Saturday until 7pm. Then have another party
but this time just for the anglers. you don’t want to miss this one!!
Also keep an eye out for a sea fishing and a juniors match coming very soon.
All the best,
Jason, Andy and the CFC Team
